GOLDEN GOOSE SNEAKER REVIEW. ARE THEY WORTH IT?

Hiii guys! I'm finally back with a new blog post after my short hiatus the past month. I've been feeling super uninspired the last couple of weeks but I am back and ready for some Spring content.

I've had my Golden Gooses for a couple of months now so I feel like I've had some time to really wear them and form my opinion on these expensive ass sneakers. For the past year I've only been wearing my Shein GG dupes which I still love but for years I've been yearning for the real deal. These sneakers will cost you a pretty penny and range from $300-700 bucks. The more wild and funky the sneaker design is, it tends to be more expensive. I got a pretty basic pair so mine fell on the least expensive side.

The pair I got are the Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Francy Leather  Hi-Top Sneakers. I decided to go with the high top version because I hate wearing those no-show socks and I also never have matching socks on anyway so I figured it was just easier to be able to cover them up.

I have to say that I'm absolutely obsessed with them and already want another pair. I think they give such a cool vibe to any outfit and I can't wait to wear them with dresses and skirts over the Summer to give my outfits a more relaxed look. If you follow me on Instagram then you already know I wear them almost every single day.

They're made out of 100% Italian leather so you know they're gonna last you a lifetime. They are a super unique design and come already scuffed up which may freak some people out but it just reassures me that I don't have to baby these shoes. I also feel cool knowing that the only people who are going to appreciate GG's are people who know fashion.

I will say that the first couple of times I wore them I got a pretty bad blister on my left foot.  This mayyy be due to the fact that my left foot is a tad bigger than my right but who knows. I would just keep that in mind if you're looking to purchase them.  I have them pretty broken into now and they SUPER comfortable.  I also feel like they match with absolutely everything and they just give a vibe of like a converse but a little cooler haha.

You can pretty much buy Golden Gooses from all of the high end boutiques such as Revolve, Shopbop, Intermix, MyTheresa, and Farfetch along with most of the major department stores. I got mine from Farfetch and they actually offer a 10% discount if you sign up for their emails so I got a pretty decent amount of money taken off of my total which was just a bonus for me!

So would I say they're worth it? YES.

I think I've already gotten my money's worth with how much use I've already gotten out of them. They have become a stable in my wardrobe and I think they will be in style forever. I'm going to link all my favorites below along with my favorite dupes from Shein.

Let me know if any of you get yourself a pair! You won't regret it.

XX,
Em
