Happy 2019 everyone!!!
I recently watched a Youtube video of Danielle Carolan's where she did her 2018 reflection by just scrolling through her Instagram throughout the year while talking about what happened during each month. I loved this idea because I didn't wanna get all deep reflecting on the past year. I traveled more than I ever have throughout last year and I didn't really realize how much I did before scrolling through my feed. You don't realize how fast a year actually flies by until you think about everything that has happened in each month! I'm going to keep it short and sweet for each month so ENJOY!!!
January:
Rang in the new year in Grand Rapids, celebrated birthdays in Detroit, and job searched for my first big girl job.
Feburary:
Got my first job, went to Mt. Pleasant for Sigma Freeze(never again),
March:
The month where Conner and I started talking hahaha shout out to St. Practice Day, celebrated actual St. Patrick's day in Grand Rapids, and stayed in Detroit for Summer's birthday.
April:
Went to Los Angeles for the first time to visit my cousin and celebrated my 23rd birthday!
May:
I went to New Orleans with my best friends and had the fricken time of my life, also went to Hocking Hills, OH with Conner and stayed in a tent at the state park. Highly recommend both places to anyone!
June:
Conner and I went to Vegas and saw Calvin Harris at Wet Republic and it was awesomeeee. be ready to spend $50.00 for one drink though. #worthit
July:
Conner and I went up north to our friend Bre's cottage for the Fourth of July and I also went to Disney with my sister and mom.
August:
Celebrated my best friend Katie leaving for PA school and enjoyed the last final days of Summer.
September:
We celebrated Conner's birthday and also had Chelsea's bachelorette party and got wildddd.
October:
Went to CMU for homecoming, finally launched Lively Em YAYYY!! and my sister got married in beautiful northern Michigan. What a great month.
November:
Conner and I went on our cruise and had the best time ever! Also spent Thanksgiving in Clio and got a little too turnt at his local bar.
December:
Spent this month with friends doing all of the festive holiday activities. Had the best Christmas and New Years with my fam and friends.
I am soooo excited for what 2019 will bring and I just feel like it is going to be my year. I'm working on my 2019 goals so be on the look out for that next blog post coming up.
